An accomplished photographer and magician holds a URF world record for the creation of first ever matchstick video with exact motion. For those who are unfamiliar with matchstick art, this involves creating three dimensional miniature models using matchsticks, which is rendered beautiful by the addition of costumes and the like to make them look true to life. The uniqueness of the art form is in the fact that it requires a great deal of patience and attention to details. A government employee by profession and guest faculty at Magic Academy, he had featured his photographs in “Art and Alchemy”, an exhibition organised by Soorya to celebrate 177 years of photography. An adherent lover of arts, he is in the forefront of dance photography, a less sought out area as far as photography is concerned. His well timed shots have fetched him numerous accolades from art connoisseurs. Popularly known as ’Matchstick Man’, he currently works in Kerala State General Education Department.
